Emily and Wyatt got to come to Texas with us after leaving CA. Here's my little guy all wrapped up in his little coccoon. He's about to go to bed but he looks like he has other plans to me. Those are not the eyes of sleep!

After my visit with Ashley's fam the majority of us headed to Cypress CA to celebrate the Jr. & Sr.Steve birthdays! Phil flew in and met us there and we all ate, swam, sunned and surfed for the weekend. Do you think my little Steve likes chocolate? Come Sunday, the party's over.

I'm at the Matthews to help Ash with Brooke for a couple of weeks while Justin is gone for the Elk hunt and Ash is finishing up school. If all goes as planned Ashley will be our first college graduate from our family. We are so proud of her and each of our kids as they have ALL obviously out done their parents in so many ways! GOOD JOB kids! Way to make us look good!

I love playing with my grandkids they make me feel young again. Brooke likes climbing in the pantry even though she gets stuck and we had so much fun tunnel building and playing peek a boo under there too! We got her this early birthday present since we wouldn't be here to celebrate her birthday, and in no time at all she was walking on her own.

So here in Texas this is our version of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Perhaps it's where McDonalds got their inspiration!

We had a fun dinner at the Brick Oven with mom and dad, the kiddies and grand kiddies!
